LESSON 6
COMPARTMENTS
Compartments..?
You
need not confuse of hearing this word โcompartmentโ.
Just
what you obviously use the parts in a sentence namely subject, auxiliary, verb, object, indirect object, complement, adverbs,
infinitives is known as compartments.
If
these are not placed according to rule and situation, your sentence will
attempt foul.
It
is better you remember here, a learner shall not in take this rule cautiously,
instead, may do functionally by creating some views through sentences, only
then you will comprehensively realize where to use which compartment.
Compartments
are definite and you can number them. In this approach, there are ten
compartments and are used obviously in written and spoken forms. They are,
SUBJECT, AUXILIARY, VERB, OBJECT, INDIRECT OBJECT, ADVERB OF QUALITY, ADVERB OF
TIME, ADVERB OF PLACE, COMPLEMENT and INFINITE.
Applicably
compartments are used according to the mode of expression in a sentence.
It
does not matter all can be present or not in a sentence. A sentence can exist
by containing only one compartment that is verb, such type of sentence is known
as Imperative sentence or statement.
