What is conjunction?
You know very well that a word which connects two diff sentences is known as conjunction.

There are 3 types such as Subordinate conjunction, Coordinate conjunction and Absolute coordinate conjunction.

  • Though it was tough, I faced it successfully
  • Since it was a  heavy rain fall, there was no crowed on the street.
  • You are good in communication but have to develop to speak metaphors a lot.
  • Sheela is ill so that she couldn't attend the event today.

Here, the first two conjunctions are known as subordinate conjunction as they connect a subordinate clause with a main clause.

In the third, BUT is a absolute coordinate conjunction, since it connects two diff main clauses.Even if you exchange the places of the main clauses, the meaning is not damaged.

In fourth, SO THAT  is also a coordinate conjunction. it too connects two diff main clauses, but if you exchange the places of the clauses, the meaning would be damaged.
