குறள் 1311:
பெண்ணியலார் எல்லாரும் கண்ணிற் பொதுவுண்பர்
நண்ணேன் பரத்தநின் மார்பு

விளக்கம்:
உனை பார்த்த பெண்ணினத்தார் வியந்து போய் உன் அகன்ற மார்புகளை கண்டு களிப்புற்றதனால் அவற்றை தழுவ என் மனம் தயங்குகிறது.

Sorry my dear, whereas all women surprisingly have gazed your broad boobs, I wouldn't like to hug you henceforth.

ஊடி இருந்தேமாத் தும்மினார் யாம்தம்மை
நீடுவாழ் கென்பாக் கறிந்து

விளக்கம்:
நான் அவருடன் ஊடலில் இருந்தபொழுது அவர் தும்மியதற்கு காரணம் நான் ஊடலை நிறுத்தி அவரை நீடூழி வாழ்க என வாழ்த்துவேன் என்பதற்காகத்தான் என்பதை நான் அறிவேன்.

I notice well that the reason of his sneezing during our clash is that he expect that I would stop the clash on him and I would greet him for his sneeze.

கோட்டுப்பூச் சூடினும் காயும் ஒருத்தியைக்
காட்டிய சூடினீர் என்று

கொடிகளில் பூத்தமலர்களை நான் அணிந்துவிட்டால் போதும், யாரோ ஒருத்திக்கு சைகை தெரிவிப்பதற்காக தான் நான் அப்படி செய்கிறேன் என்று ஊடல் செய்வாள்.

Even if I adore some flowers taken from plants, she would start a clash by means of that I am signalling to someone through such flowers.

எக்காதலை காட்டிலும் நம் காதலே உயர்ந்தது என்று நான் சொன்னால், எனையல்லாது யாருடன் செய்த காதலை காட்டிலும்... யாருடன் செய்த காதலை காட்டிலும்... என்று ஊடலை ஆரம்பிக்கிறாள்.

If I say that only our love is better than any other, she starts a clash by asking with whose love I am comparing and for what.

இப்பிறவியில் நாம் பிரியவேமாட்டோம் என்று காதலுடன் அவளிடம் கூறினேன். ஒகோ.... அடுத்த பிறவியில் நாம் பிரிந்துவிடுவோம் என்கிறார்களா? என்று கூறி கண்ணீர்விட்டாள் அவள்.

தழுவலின்பொழுது உனைத்தான் அனுதினமும் நினைக்கிறேன் என்று நான் கூறினால், ஓகோ.. மறந்ததினால் தானே எனை நினைக்கிறீர்கள்.... எனை உங்களால் மறக்கவும் முடிகிறதா? என தழுவலை விட்டு வம்புக்கிழுக்கிறாள்.

During love, if I say that I am always thinking her, suddenly she starts a clash by means of that I am forgetting her that's why I start to think her and she asks how I could forget her.

வழுத்தினாள் தும்மினேன் ஆக அழித்தழுதாள்
யாருள்ளித் தும்மினீர் என்று

விளக்கம்:
தழுவலின் பொழுது தும்மினேன். ஆயுசு நூறு என்று வாழ்த்தினாள். சிறிது நேரத்தில், அது சரி.... நீங்கள் தும்மும் அளவுக்கு உங்களை நினைத்தது யார் என்று வம்பு செய்தாள்.

One day, I sneezed during hugging her. She greeted me that I would be living for hundred years. After a few minutes she asked me who did think me so that I sneezed.

தும்முச் செறுப்ப அழுதாள் நுமருள்ளல்
எம்மை மறைத்திரோ என்று

விளக்கம்:
தும்மினால் ஊடல் வருகிறதே என்றெண்ணி நான் தும்மலை அடக்க முயன்றால், யாரோ ஒருத்தி உங்களை நினைக்கிறாள் அதை நான் அறிந்துவிடக்கூடாது என்பதற்காகதான் தும்மலை அடக்குகிறீர்கள் என்று ஒரு புதுவித ஊடலை ஆரம்பிக்கிறாள்.

If I forcibly control my sneeze feeling due to avoiding the clash, suddenly she starts a new type of clash that I suppress my sneeze that is raised because some other woman has thought me that's what I feel sneezing and I control it that she should not know that matter!

ஊடலை நிறுத்தி அவளை நான் அன்புடன் மகிழ்விக்க முயன்றாலும் இந்த கலையை நீங்கள் யாரிடம் கற்றுக்கொண்டீர் என்றொரு ஊடலை ஆரம்பிக்கிறாள்.

If I convince her for avoiding clash and lovingly start to hug her, she starts a clash by asking from whom I learnt this skill!

யாருள்ளி நோக்கினீர் என்று

விளக்கம்:
அவள் அழகைக் கண்டு வியந்து  பொறுமையாக ரசித்தாலும், என் அழகை யாருடன் ஒப்பிட்டு அளவு பார்க்கிறீர் என்று புதுமையாய் ஒரு வம்பை செய்கிறாள்.

If I lovingly admire her beautiful structure by gazing her, suddenly she starts a new type of clash with whose structure I am comparing her and I am measuring!
