CHANGING VOICE - ALL STATEMENTS - TENSE VERSA.

LESSON 01. SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE

How far is 'changing voice' important during learning English...?

If you deserve that 'drilling Grammar' is an over drill while training English to one, it may mean that you are not taking full responsibility to make one be good in English.

None is in the world without knowing that learning or teaching grammar might be interrupting one who learns spoken English. Doesn't it mean that Grammar is not important to know English to speak and write?

Anyway, without the basics of grammar how could one be well in English? This question can't be thrown out in no time before taking it at least for a review.

In my point of view, I would say that a basic learner must know at least what voice, tense and statement are. If we ignore it, surely it would mean that we are not taking full responsibility for our teaching and training of English.

See here,

How an affirmative statement made in the simple present is promoted into all types of statements on both voices.

"WE DO DESIGN A PROJECT FOR THE NEW PLANT."

The sentence that is in affirmative of simple present tense in active voice is promoted on both voices in all statements such as AFFIRMATIVE, NEGATIVE, INTERROGATIVE AGAINST SUBJECT, VERB, OBJECT and ADJUNCT, SPECIFIC QUESTION POSITIVE and NEGATIVE and TAG QUESTION POSITIVE and NEGATIVE.

POSITIVE

We design a project for the new plant.

A project is designed by us for the new plant.

NEGATIVE

We don't design a project for the new plant.

A project isn't designed by us for the new plant.

INTERROGATIVE AGAINST SUBJECT

Who does design a project for the new plant?

By whom is a project designed for the new plant?

AGAINST VERB

What do you do a project for the new plant?

What is a project done by you for the new plant?

AGAINST OBJECT

What do you design for the new plant?

What is designed by you for the new plant?

AGAINST ADJUNCT

For what do you design a new project?

For what is a new project designed by you?

SPECIFIC QUESTION POSITIVE

Do you design a project for the new plant?

Is a new project designed by you for the new plant?

SPECIFIC QUESTION NEGATIVE

Don't you design a project for the new plant?

Isn't a project designed by you for the new plant?

TAG QUESTION POSITIVE

You do design a project for the new plant, don't you?

A project is designed by you for the new plant, isn't it?

TAG QUESTION NEGATIVE

You don't design a project for the new plant, do you?

A project isn't designed by you for the new plant, is it?

Like this, we have to practice for every tense in all statements on both voices. In the Lesson 02, we will drill the same on the present perfect tense.
