கருமம் செயவொருவன் கைதூவேன் என்னும்
பெருமையிற் பீடுடைய தில்
- தெய்வப்புலவர்

விளக்கம்:
கருமமே கண்ணாயினும் என்ற நோக்கில் வீட்டையும் நாட்டையும் மேம்படுத்த வேண்டும் என்று செயல்படுவதை விட பெருமையான செயல் வேறெதுவும் இல்லை.

போர்களத்தில் வரும் சிரமங்களை தாங்கி நின்று போரிடும் ஒரு வீரனின் வல்லமையை போன்றதே நாட்டையும் வீட்டையும் உயர்த்தப் பாடுபடும்  பொழுது ஏற்படும் சிரமங்களை எதிர்கொள்வது.
