குறள் 111:
தகுதி யெனவொன்று நன்றே பகுதியாற்
பாற்பட் டொழுகப் பெறின்

விளக்கம்:
பாரபட்சம் பார்க்காது உண்மைநிலையறிந்து நடுவுநிலை காப்பதே ஒரு நீதிமானின் ஒழுக்கம்.

Explanation in English:
To protect justice without showing partiality is the Morality of a person who is judging.

குறள் 112:
செப்பம் உடையவன் ஆக்கஞ் சிதைவின்றி
எச்சத்திற் கேமாப் புடைத்து

விளக்கம்:
சிறந்த நீதிமானின் செல்வம் தழைத்தோங்கும். பிற்காலத்தில் சந்ததியினருக்கு அது அழியா சொத்தாக அமையும்.

Explanation in English:
A honest justice's wealth will be forever. It shall be a solid property to his descendants.

குறள் 113:
நன்றே தரினும் நடுவிகந்தாம் ஆக்கத்தை
அன்றே யொழிய விடல்

விளக்கம்:
அநீதி நன்மையை தரும் என்ற நிலை ஏற்பட்டாலும்கூட எக்காரணம் கொண்டும்  நடுவுநிலை நீதி வழுவக்கூடாது.

Explanation in English:
Even if an injustice causes gain, justification shouldn't foul at any reason.

குறள் 114:
தக்கார் தகவிலர் என்ப தவரவர்
எச்சத்தாற் காணப் படும்

விளக்கம்:
ஒருவர் நடுவு நிலையின் பொழுது நீதியுடன் நடந்துகொண்டாரா இல்லையா என்பது அவர் தன் சந்ததியினரின் வாழ்க்கையில் காட்டிக்கொடுத்துவிடும்.

Explanation in English:
It will be known during the decendants' life in the future whether one has behaved justicious or not during his role as a justice.

கேடும் பெருக்கமும் இல்லல்ல நெஞ்சத்துக்
கோடாமை சான்றோர்க் கணி

விளக்கம்:
நன்மையும் தீமையும் இயல்புதான் என்றாகினும், வாய்மையுடன் நீதியுடன் நடந்துகொள்வதே நல்ல மனிதனுக்கு அழகு.

Explanation in English:
Although Good and bad of ones have been scripted earlier by the nature. Being honest and justicious is pretty to a good man.

குறள் 116:
கெடுவல்யான் என்ப தறிகதன் நெஞ்சம்
நடுவொரீஇ அல்ல செயின்

விளக்கம்:
நீதியாளனாக இருந்து கொண்டு நீதி தவறி நடக்க ஒருவர் விழைந்தால் அவர் நிச்சயம் கெடப்போகிறார் என்பதற்கான அறிகுறி.

Explanation in English:
If one fouls from justice on his being as a judge, that is a symptoms that he goes to be spoilt surely.

குறள் 117:
கெடுவாக வையா துலகம் நடுவாக
நன்றிக்கண் தங்கியான் தாழ்வு

விளக்கம்:
நீதி வழுவா நிலை ஒருவேளை வறுமையை தருமானால், நல்லவர்கள் எவரும் அதை வறுமையென கூறமாட்டார்கள்.

Explanation in English:
Even if one goes to poverty since he follows justice, that wouldn't be considered as poverty by good people.

குறள் 118:
சமன்செய்து சீர்தூக்குங் கோல்போல் அமைந்தொருபாற்
கோடாமை சான்றோர்க் கணி

விளக்கம்:
ஒரு நல்ல நடுவன் நிலை என்பது, தராசு அங்கும் இங்கும் ஆடி இறுதியில் சரியான நிறையை காட்டுவதுபோல், எப்பக்கமும் சாய்ந்துவிடாமல் நீதியை அறிவிப்பதே ஆகும்.

Explanation in English:
A Good justice means not to lay any side blindly. It should be right way as if the scale measures accurately in final despite dangling here and there.

குறள் 119:
சொற்கோட்டம் இல்லது செப்பம் ஒருதலையா
உட்கோட்டம் இன்மை பெறின்

விளக்கம்:
ஒரு பக்கம் சாய்வில்லாது நடுவன் நிலையின் மனம் பலமாக இருப்பின், அவர் உதிர்க்கும் சொற்கள் நல்ல நீதியை வழங்கும்.

Explanation in English:
If a judge's mind is strong without laying one side, his words surely will declare a good justice.

குறள் 120:
வாணிகம் செய்வார்க்கு வாணிகம் பேணிப்
பிறவும் தமபோல் செயின்

விளக்கம்:
பிறர் பொருளையும் தன் பொருள் போல் பேணி வணிகம் செய்வதே நல்ல வணிகருக்கு அழகு.

Explanation in English:
The sensible act of a good trader is that to trading by  protecting others' things too like their own things.
