உவகை மகிழ்ச்சியிற் சோர்வு

விளக்கம்:
கடுஞ்சினத்தால் விளையும் கெடுதலை விட களிப்புற இருக்கும்பொழுது ஏற்படும் மறதியே கொடுமையானது.

Evil caused due to forgetting during pleasure is more miserable than the evil caused due to very much anger.

வறுமையால் தினமும் அறிவு  குன்றுவதுபோல்  நெகிழ்ந்திருந்து மறந்து போகும் நிலை ஒருவனின் புகழை கொன்றுவிடும்.

கற்றுணர்ந்தவர்களாயிருந்தாலும் கூட மறதியும் சோர்வும் உள்ளோருக்கு புகழும் பெருமையும் கிடைக்க வாய்ப்பே இல்லை

நல் பதவியிலிருந்தும் மறதி என்றொன்று இருந்தால் அது
பலத்த பாதுகாப்பு இருந்தும் அச்சப்படும் நிலைக்கு ஒப்பாகும்.

துயரம் வரும் முன்னே அதற்கான தற்காப்பை  செய்ய மறப்பவன் துயரம் வந்த பின் வருந்தி யாது தான் பயன் ?

எக்காலத்திலும் எதையும் மறக்காத நிலையை போல ஒரு நன்மையான நிலை இவ்வுலகில் எதுவுமில்லை.

மறவா நிலை என்ற கருவியை பண்பாக ஒருவர் பெற்றிருப்பின், அவர் எந்த ஒரு அரியச் செயலையும் செய்யத் திறன் படைத்தவராவார்.

சான்றோர்கள் இது நன்மை என்று சொல்லிச்சென்ற செயல்களை செய்யத் தவறியவர்களுக்கு ஏழு பிறப்பிலும் நன்மை கிடைக்காது.

மகிழ்ச்சியின் மைந்துறும் போழ்து
- தெய்வப்புலவர்

விளக்கம்:
அதீத மகிழ்ச்சியில் இருப்போர், மகிழ்ச்சியின் திளைப்பில் கடமையாற்ற மறந்து அதனால் அழிந்தவர்களை நினைத்துப் பார்த்து, கடமையாற்ற மறவாதிருத்தல் வேண்டும்.

ஒரு செயலை செய்து முடிக்கும் வரை எதையும் மறவாது செயலின் இலக்கை மட்டுமே மனதில் வைத்து செயல்படுவோர் எளிதில் அதில் வெற்றி பெருவார்.
