குறள் 331:
நில்லாத வற்றை நிலையின என்றுணரும்
புல்லறி வாண்மை கடை

விளக்கம்:
நிலையில்லாதவற்றை நிலையானவை என்று உணரும் அறிவு இழிவானதாகும்.

Explanation in English:
The wisdom that says instability is stability is silly one.

குறள் 332:
கூத்தாட் டவைக்குழாத் தற்றே பெருஞ்செல்வம்
போக்கும் அருவிளிந் தற்று

விளக்கம்:
பெருஞ்செல்வம் இருப்பது நாடகத்தின் பொழுது கூட்டம் குழுமி இருப்பதுபோல். நிலையானதல்ல. நாடகம் முடிந்து கூட்டம் கலைந்து செல்வதுபோல் அச்செல்வமும் விலகிப் போகும்.

Explanation in English:
Having a sack of wealth is like a crowd infront of drama. As if the crowd disassemble after the drama, big wealth too can go away.

குறள் 333:
அற்கா இயல்பிற்றுச் செல்வம் அதுபெற்றால்
அற்குப ஆங்கே செயல்

விளக்கம்:
செல்வம் நிலையற்றது. நிறைந்திருக்கும்பொழுதே அதைக் கொண்டு பல அறச்செயல்கள் செய்வது நல்லது.

Explanation in English:
Having big wealth is instable. when it exists, has to utilise it for doing goodness for others.

குறள் 334:
நாளென ஒன்றுபோற் காட்டி உயிரீரும்
வாள துணர்வார்ப் பெறின்

விளக்கம்:
உயிரும் நிலையற்றதே. நாள் அல்லது காலம் என்பது, உயிர் உடம்பிலிருப்பதை குறித்து வைத்துக்கொள்ளும் ஒரு வாள் என்பதை சான்றோர் அறிவர்.

Explanation in English:
Live is instable. Day or time is like a sword that counts the days of staying time of live in body.

நாச்செற்று விக்குள்மேல் வாராமுன் நல்வினை
மேற்சென்று செய்யாப் படும்

விளக்கம்:
நா அடைத்து விக்கல் வருவதுபோல் இறப்பு வருவதற்கு முன்பே  அறச்செயல்களனைத்தையும் செய்துவிடவேண்டும்.

Explanation in English:
Live is instable so the service of doing all goodness should be completed before live is leaving the body as if getting hickup due to block of tongue.

நெருந லுளனொருவன் இன்றில்லை என்னும்
பெருமை யுடைத்திவ் வுலகு

விளக்கம்:
நேற்றிருப்போர் இன்றில்லை என்கிற நிலையாமையை  பெருமைக்குறியதாக கொண்டதுதான் இந்த உலகம்.

Explanation in English:
Life is instable because this world proudly contains the stance that is one who was alive yesterday but he is no more today.

ஒருபொழுதும் வாழ்வ தறியார் கருதுப
கோடியு மல்ல பல

விளக்கம்:
வாழ்வின் உண்மையான அர்த்தத்தை ஒரு பொழுது உணர்ந்து அறிந்து கொள்ள முயற்ச்சிப்பதை விடுத்து அவ்வாழ்விற்காக காணும் கனவுகளோ கோடிக்கும் மேல்.

Explanation in English:
One is dreaming crores and more for his life but failing to know the exact meaning of the life.

குறள் 338:
குடம்பை தனித்தொழியப் புள்பறந் தற்றே
உடம்போ டுயிரிடை நட்பு

விளக்கம்:
உயிருக்கும் உடலுக்கும் உள்ள உறவு, பறவை தன் கூட்டை பிரிந்து பறந்துவிடுவது போல் நிலையற்றதாகும். 

Explanation in English:
The relationship between live and body is instable because live too would fly away from body as if a bird is flying away from its nest.

குறள் 339:
உறங்குவது போலுஞ் சாக்கா டுறங்கி
விழிப்பது போலும் பிறப்பு

விளக்கம்:
வாழ்க்கை நிலையற்றது. இறப்பு என்பது உறங்கச் செல்வதுபோல். அது போல பிறப்பு என்பதும் உறங்கி விழிப்பதுபோல் தான்.

Explanation in English:
Death means that one is going to sleep due to tired. Likewise birth means that one is waking up from his sleepy.

குறள் 340:
புக்கி லமைந்தின்று கொல்லோ உடம்பினுள்
துச்சி லிருந்த உயிர்க்கு

விளக்கம்:
உடல் உயிர்க்கு நிலையானதல்ல. அது உயிரை தன் ஓர் ஓரத்தில் வந்து அமர இடம்தரும் ஒரு புகலிடமே!

Explanation in English:
Body is just like a sanctuary to live. It just provides a place to live for dwelling so body too is instable to live.
