கண்ணோட்டம் என்னுங் கழிபெருங் காரிகை
உண்மையான் உண்டிவ் வுலகு
- தெய்வப்புலவர்

விளக்கம்:
கண்ணுறவது என்பது ஒரு பேரழகாகும். இத்திறன் இருப்பதனால் தான் இவ்வுலகம் இயங்குகிறது.

காணவேண்டியவற்றை வேண்டுமென்றே காணாமல் இருக்கும் கண்கள், முகத்தில் ஒரு உறுப்பு என்பதை தவிர வேறு அந்தஸ்தேதும் அதற்கில்லை.

கண்களின் பெருமையே கண்ணோட்டம் தான். கண்ணோட்டம் விரும்பாத கண்கள் வெறும் புண்களாக மட்டுமே கருதப்படும்.

Despite having eyes, if ones fail to be interested to have a benignant glance, it means that those persons are parallel to a tree that is buried on the soil.

விளக்கம்:
கண்களுடையவர்களுக்கு கண்ணோட்டம் இருப்பதென்பது இயல்பு. கண்கள் இருந்தும் கண்ணோட்டம் விழையார் கண்களில்லாதவர்களாவார்கள்.

Having benignant sight is nature to those who are having eyes. Being so, if ones aren't willing to have a mercy sight despite having eyes, they are considered as an utter blind.

எதிராய் பெரும் தீங்கிழைக்கும் கொடியோனிடமும் பொறுமைமையாய்  கண்ணோட்டம் கொள்ளும் பண்பு மாண்புக்குறியது.

முகத்திற்கு முகம் என்ற நாகரிகம் கருதுவோர் நட்புக்குறியோர் நஞ்சை கொடுத்தாலும் நயம்பட அதை உண்ண மறுக்க மாட்டார்.
