என்னைமுன் நில்லன்மின் தெவ்விர் பலரென்னை
முன்னின்று கல்நின் றவர்
- தெய்வப்புலவர்

விளக்கம்:
என் தலைவனிடம் உங்கள் வீரத்தை காட்டாதீர்கள்; அப்படி காட்டிய பலர் ஆங்காங்கே கல் சிலையாய் நிற்கின்றனர் அறிவீரா?-என்று ஒரு வீரன் செருக்காய் முழங்க வேண்டும்.

Hey, Dont play with my king by your wrong game; there were many stood up as statues as they had played like you. A valient soldier has to make hurray like above to enemy.

சிறு முயல் மீது தப்பாது அம்பெய்தி வீழ்த்துவதை காட்டிலும், பெரும் யானை மீது எய்தி குறிதவறினாலும் பரவாயில்லை. அது தான் வீரம்.

The true valiance is rather shooting a big elephant by arrow despite the aim fouls, than killing accurately by arrowing a poor rabbit .

பகைவனிடம் வீரம் காட்டி வீழ்த்துவது ஆண்மையின் அடையாளம் தான் என்றாலும், பகைவனின் இயற்கையான துன்பத்தை கண்டு இரக்கம் காட்டுவது ஆண்மையின் மகத்துவம் ஆகும்.

கையிலிருந்த வேல் ஒன்றை எதிர்த்து வந்த யானைமேல்  வீசிய பின், அடுத்த தாக்குதலுக்கு வேல் தேடி அங்கும் இங்கும் அலையமாட்டான் நல்வீரன். தன் மார்பில் பாய்ந்திருக்கும் வேலை பிடுங்கி எறிந்து மகிழ்வான் எதிரியை தாக்க.

After throwing a jauline to attack an elephant that comes to kill a hero, he wouldn't waste his time to search out here and there for the next jauline, he would pluck out the jauline pleasantly from his body that was stuck on his chest and wake up to attack.

விழித்த கண்ணோடு எதிரி மேல் வேல் எறிந்து பின் கண் இமை மூடுங்கால், இமைப்பொழுதில் எதிரி வேல் எறிய வாய்ப்பு கொடுத்ததாகிவிடும்.

Hero shouldn't close his eyes as soon as throwing jauline on enemy. It may be like giving an opportunity to enemy to re-throw it on hero.

விளக்கம்:
தான் போர் புரிந்த நாட்களை கணக்கிடும் வீரன், தான் காயம் படா நாட்கள் அதில் இருந்தால் வருந்துவான் அவன்.

விளக்கம்:
புகழை மட்டும் விரும்பி ஆனாலும் உயிர் மீது ஆசையின்றி போர் புரியும் நிலைத்திருக்கும் வீரன் தன் காலில் வீரக்கழல் கட்டிக்கொள்பவனாவான்.

உயிர் பயமின்றி போரிடும் வீரனை, போர் வேண்டாம் என்று தலைவன் சினத்தால் அதட்டினாலும், தன் வீரத்தின் சீற்றத்தை விட்டு விடமாட்டான் நல் வீரன்.

சாவேன் என்று சூளுரைத்த வீரன் போரில் வென்றோ தோற்றோ பிழைத்திருந்தால், அவனை இகழ்வது அபத்தம்.

போரின் பொழுது, தன் வீரர்களின் நன்றியுணர்ச்சியால் கண்களில் நீர்வடிய பார்த்து நிற்கும் அரசனின் கண்முன் சாவ துணிவது ஒரு வீரனின் போர் தர்மம்.
