அரங்கின்றி வட்டாடி யற்றே நிரம்பிய
நூலின்றிக் கோட்டி கொளல்
- தெய்வப்புலவர்.

விளக்கம்:
கருத்து நிறைந்த நூல்களை படிக்காமல், கற்கிறேன் என்று கூறுவது, அரங்கு மற்றும் உபகரணம் இல்லாமல் பகடை விளையாடுவது போல் ஆகும்.
