சிற்றினம் அஞ்சும் பெருமை சிறுமைதான்
சுற்றமாச் சூழ்ந்து விடும்

விளக்கம்:
தீய சிந்தனையுடையோரிடம் தீய குணம் படைத்தோரே சேர்வர். நற்சிந்தனையுள்ள பெரியோர்கள் தங்கள் பெருமை கருதி  ஒருகாலும் அவர்களுடன் சேர மாட்டார்கள்.
