அழிவதூஉம் ஆவதூஉம் ஆகி வழிபயக்கும்
ஊதியமுஞ் சூழ்ந்து செயல்

விளக்கம்:
ஒரு செயலை செய்யுங்கால், அதனால் வரும் லாபம் என்ன, இழப்பு என்ன, இழப்பை ஈடுகட்டும் வழி என்ன என்றாராய்ந்து செய்க.

தன்னை தன் நாட்டை காத்துக் கொள்ளும் வழிமுறை அமைக்காது பகைவரை எதிர்க்க துணியும் அரசனின் செயல், பகைவரை அவன் தன் மண்ணிலேயே வளரவிடுவது போலாகும்.

ஒரு செயலை செய்யும் முன்பே ஆராய்ந்து துணிந்து செயல்படுவது விவேகம்; செயலில் இறங்கிய பின் பார்த்துக்கொள்ளலாம் என்று எண்ணுவது இழுக்காகும்.

தன் தகுதிக்கு பொருந்தாத ஒரு செயலை ஒருவர் செய்யுங்கால் உலகம் அவரை இகழும் ஆதலால் இகழாவண்ணம் செயல்கள் செய்ய அறிதல் வேண்டும்.
