அவையறிந் தாராய்ந்து சொல்லுக சொல்லின்
தொகையறிந்த தூய்மை யவர்

விளக்கம்:
அவையில் பேசும்பொழுது, அவையிலுள்ளவர்களின் முதிர்ச்சி அறிந்து நற்கருத்துகளை நயப்பட உரைப்பதே மதிப்பு.

அவையின் அருமை தெரியாமல் மனம் போன போக்கில் பேசுபவர்கள் சொல்லின் வகையுணர்ந்து பேசத்தெரியாதவர்.

கற்றுணர்ந்த அனைத்தையும் கருத்துரைக்க ஏதுவான சபை எதுவெனில், குறையற்ற சொற்கள் பேசாத மதிநிறைந்த மக்கள் இருக்கும் சபையே. (சபையறிந்து பேசுக என்பது இதான்)
