விளக்கம்:
இனிக்க இனிக்க பழகுபவராக இருந்தாலும், உள்ளத்தில் பண்பில்லாதவராயின், அந்நட்பை கைவிடுவது இனிதாகும்.

நகைத்து உவந்து நயவஞ்சகமாக பழகும் நட்பு தரும் துன்பத்துடன் ஒப்பிடுங்கால், பகைவரின் துன்பம் பத்து கோடி மடங்கு நன்மையானதாம்.

ஒரு செயலை செய்து வெற்றி வரும் சமயத்தில் உள்ளே புகுந்து கெடுக்கும் நட்பை அவருக்கு தெரியாமலேயே விட்டொழித்துவிடல் வேண்டும். (கொடிய நட்பு இது)
