குடியென்னுங் குன்றா விளக்கம் மடியென்னும்
மாசூர மாய்ந்து கெடும்
- தெய்வப்புலவர்

விளக்கம்:
பிறந்த குடி அனையாத விளக்காக இருந்தாலும், சோம்பலும், சோர்வும் இருந்தால் அந்த குடி மங்கிப் போகும்.

சோம்பலில் வீழ்ந்து முயற்சியேதும் செய்யார் பலரின் இகழ்ச்சிக்கு ஆளாவர்.

வாழ்க்கையில் சோம்பலை ஒருவன் விட்டு விட்டால், குலப்பெருமை ஓங்கும் ஆண்மையின் ஆளுமையும் உயரும்.
