This is the fourth tense. It is used to express a matter that has been going on continually, not continuously. HAVE BEEN or HAS BEEN are used as auxiliaries to the subject based on the person along with the present participle form of the verb. Likely passive voice is not used in this tense though may be used in the American or any other private system. Anyway, we are to do the statement promotion on both voices. "I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPUTER SINCE MY CHILDHOOD." I is the subject to the verb. HAVE BEEN USING is the verb. THIS COMPUTER is the object to the verb.
